So, we don't have any trees that drop leaves in the fall. We have Pine trees that drop "dumb needles" and that's about it. So when the kids wanted to play in the leaves I told them to go to the neighbors house and get theirs. A good deed and fun for all, until Jer got home and wondered why we had leaves in our yard.
We got our wagon, rake and trash bags and went to the neighbors.
We gathered leaves
Took them to our house
Brought the wagon back and loaded it up again.
Then they sat and played in the leaves for the rest of the day.
Someday we will have leaves, probably for my grandchildren to play in but we WILL have leaves, someday.

You are such a good mom. I love the look on E's face. You can tell he is so happy. We miss you already. Love you.
You, my friend, are a good patient mama! I raked for three hours today. It wasn't the first time this season and not the last either.
Sounds like a great plan
Kim, we would have helped you with your leaves. Give us a call, and we will bring our rakes.
